but tonight, we're having the final servings of the dish. but just to add something different to the table... i fried the leftover brown jasmine rice. then i attempted to bake crab rangoons as opposed to frying them. it turned out pretty good.
just your regular crab rangoon ingredients of cream cheese, green onions, crabmeat but i also did a good sprinkle of curry powder. mix all these.
then i put the wonton wrappers in the muffin pan (spray with oil) then put a dollop of the filling.
bake in the oven for 15-18 min, 350 degrees. or check that it's not burning. (all ovens are so different). serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. we like the thai sweet chili sauce.
this is a staple in our fridge. and this is the second batch of fruit salad that i've done this week and this plastic container is our biggest. jack has his chocolate ice cream in the fridge and i have fruit. i love making and eating this. i love all the fun colors of the fruits. this fruit salad has: a carton of strawberries; two mangoes; 3 kiwis; a can of mandarin oranges, drained; and a whole papaya. mmmmmm.
let's see how long this one lasts in the fridge.
