last week, one of the dishes i made i stole from paula deen. the oxtail recipe. it's her husband's michael's "favorite." i bought oxtail and then baked in the oven for four hours.

it was really tender and soft...but a bit fatty for our taste. i had to painstakingly shred the meat to remove the fat. i served with steamed rice, sliced tomatoes/onions, and roasted asparagus.

not bad but i might do a different meat next time. good recipe but leaner oxtail, if that's possible.
