West Seattle Farmer's Market

jack and i headed out to the west seattle farmer's market yesterday at the "junction" (near california street & alaska - where all the west seattle hubbub happens). we wanted to buy everything but alas, no room in our petite kitchen. we've been having fun grocery shopping. first we headed out to trader joe's for our regular groceries and even bought mochi ice cream (green tea, chocolate, and strawberry flavors - they ran out of mango). most of our food items in the house are healthy and organic. we didn't even have to try that hard to find them.

otherwise, we some interesting fares at the market. i bought the red torpedo onions. i'm not quite sure what to do with them yet but since i love onions...i know i'll find something. i need to google it or something. if anyone has ideas, let me know.

then jack and i saw the baby kiwis (cousin to the fuzzier kiwis we're familiar with). they were grape sized and not fuzzy. they are so good and heard they are " rich in vitamin C, fiber, potassium, vitamin E and magnesium."

and the flowers. we love the flowers. it's like a garden exploded in our apartment. we love them. who needs to buy home decor when you have bouquets of exotic blooms everywhere?
