A dessert to take to the lake this weekend. Banana pudding courtesy of our former neighbor, Cindy. Jack really loves this dessert and hello! no baking! whoo hooo.
I just hope that the mosquitoes won't come after us. Didn't they say that the way our bodies processes banana oil - mosquitoes are just really drawn to it. Eeeeeek. I may have just given mosquitoes bait.
I already gave Jack some to eat tonight and he said "that's some mighty treat!" And that is not a credit to my making it (like all the recipes here) but a credit to the recipe itself. It was fool proof.
And the secret ingredient, according to another lovely boy named Seth, is the Mexican vanilla.
And lo and behold, I actually had an entire bottle of it in the pantry.
