You can tell Jack is away... I treated myself to a Filipino breakfast of dilis (dried sardines) and scrambled eggs with garlic fried rice this morning.

For Pinoys/Pinays ... if you're frying any type of fish like dried herring (tuyo), tinapa (smoked fish),daing, etc... to get the the strong, pungent aroma out
BOIL a lid full of fabric softener in water...and the house smells like laundry instead. :)

And your non-pinoy spouses would never know the difference. :P
