Thanks to my friend, Shaka, and her food stylist ways and thanks to Brie, for introducing me to the term "food porn" --- i am now addicted to taking photos of dishes. i'm not as good yet as shaka in the food styling department...but baby steps.
Last night, I made curried salmon patties. Jack said it tasted good but I was disappointed that I didn't put enough curry powder like I wanted. So next time, I'm not skimping on curry powder.
But it was easy to make and quite healthy. I had it with salad. Today for lunch, Jack is having as a salmon burger - between breads, ranch dressing, lettuce/spinach, sliced tomatoes, and cheese.
Curried Salmon Patties
1 can of pink salmon
2 eggs
chopped onions (to your liking and sautee first before adding to salmon mixture)
1 tsp (but next time I'll put more) curry powder
salt
pepper
Olive oil
Drain salmon put in a bowl and mix in the eggs,salt and pepper to taste. Pat out patties or spoon in. fry on medium heat in olive oil until a lite golden brown.
