dinner saturday night,
matador tequila bar on california ave. i had a wonderful plate of grilled carne asada tacos with black beans and rice. jack ordered a roasted tomatillo enchilada that he devoured. we sat around a firepit bar that was just so nice, cozy, and a genius idea. we had dessert - banana in a lightly fried pastry with coconut ice cream and caramel sauce. deeelish. it was such a warm, eclectic atmosphere that it was difficult to leave. if we had an idea of a night social scene for seattleites - this would be it.

for tomorrow, we're going to have sunday dim sum. but we're going to kent, washington instead of the international district. we've heard of the seafood dim sum there... the imperial garden seafood dim sum so we're going to check it out.
