Yum. One of the rare occasions that I wanted dessert before my meal. I love desserts with fruit, particularly bananas. What is it about dessert with bananas.
Turon (the filipino dessert... plantain bananas inside a lumpia wrapper with jackfruit, drizzled with brown sugar, then deep fried)
Crepes with bananas and hazelnut sauce (Nutella)
Banana cream pie....
I could go on... but I saw Banana dulce on Cancun's menu and immediately wanted to see if I could have that as my birthday dessert. With coconut ice cream. Perfecto!
It was a lovely birthday indeed, foodie wise. I did enjoy my meal and can't wait to return to Cancun at Alki Beach. I hope soon!
